Suggestion Box
This is a list of suggestions that might make your stay more enjoyable and fun. Definitely only “suggestions”…. however many people choose to sit and relax and do totally nothing which can be the perfect vacation for most.
Kite for flying on the beach… the most perfect place in the world for kites!
Sand castle supplies… some plastic molds and a couple small buckets are in the toy box already. Use your imagination and create fun castles… for large groups maybe even a castle competition? There also are several books at the house on building sand castles.
Frisbee and balls
Backpack for those who plan on adventuring along the spectacular Oregon Coast Trails which are only minutes away.
Picnic supplies for a wonderful picnic on the beach or at any one of many parks in the area… maybe picnic under a giant redwood or by one of the crystal clear rivers and of course the beach.
We have had some family groups plan theme nights which always produced lots of fun.
Ask family members to come prepared to put on a skit or some type of entertainment for one evening.
Bring both warm and cool clothing
Brimmed hat… especially if you plan to take one of the great jet boat trips up the Rogue River
