Muriah’s Slide Show
Some of the sunset colors are so incredible that a person tends to wonder whether they are “real.” Nearly all of the sunsets in Muriah’s gallery are just as the camera captured them. Her point-n-shoot camera (Canon A80) captures sunset colors much more richly than the SLR (Nikon D70) that gets the best resolution. Occasionally sharpening is required to showcase the edges of the silhouette. The most incredible sunset colors, such as in the very popular Maxwell Parrish Blues, is a result of what happens in photography during “The Blue Hour” at the beginning and end of the day, dawn and dusk (D-n-D), when light is barely perceptible.
